Recycled Products
Did you know that recycling not only keeps items out of landfills, but also can be used for additional products? There are thousands of products on the market today that are made from recycled goods. Recycled newspapers can be made into paper bags and more newspaper. Recycled magazines can be used to make toilet paper and tissue. However, outside of the more obvious, discarded plastic bottles can be made into a variety of textiles from blankets and jackets to stuffed animals. Old denim and paper can be transformed into pencils.
