Commercial Recycling
Los Angeles County requires that all new building projects in unincorporated areas of the county recycle 50% of all Construction & Demolition (C&D) debris and inert materials. The County also requires paperwork proof of the recycling. Waste Management offers a unique service, saving builders time and effort while protecting them from penalties. Under this program Waste Management can recycle up to 80% of a project’s C&D waste including: aluminum and other metals, asphalt, concrete, plastic, rebar, steel and wood. Also, Waste Management can handle the paperwork that goes along with this County compliance. A WM expert can confirm that a project meets the compliance requirements, provide turnkey paperwork for signature and submit all paperwork to the County.
In addition, WM experts can coordinate the removal of the waste and recycling products, design removal programs that meet AB939 Recycling Compliance, address safety issues, and help with the billing process.
