Commercial Recycling
Businesses operating in Lancaster are eligible to receive free commercial recycling services. As much as two-thirds of waste generated at a typical business site can be recycled and recycling helps keep trash out of the landfills and encourage business owners to reduce waste in the workplace.
California law requires all cities to reduce the waste they send to landfills by up to 50% - and pending legislation could increase the diversion rate to 70%.
