Waste Management Acquires Looney Bins in the Antelope Valley
Previous Services to be Maintained Under New Ownership
Palmdale, Calif: November 2, 2004 Waste Management today announced the purchase of Looney Bins Antelope Valley.
"Waste Management will provide the dependable, prompt and reliable service that our customers have grown to depend on," says Harry Sabounjian, the General Manager of Looney Bins, Antelope Valley, who is consulting with Waste Management during the transition.
"Looney Bins has served the Antelope Valley well," says Bob Lowe, Manager of Waste Management of the Antelope Valley. "We are confident that the Looney Bins customers will feel at home with our locally provided, community-based trash hauling."
The new Waste Management customers will continue to receive the same level of service that they received under Looney Bins, and Looney Bins Antelope Valley employees, including drivers are being kept on by Waste Management to help effect a seamless transition.
